WALK, Raffle & FUN FAIR” Fund Raiser Event

The Ave Maria Convent Welfare Society in association of Past Pupils’ Association, Teachers Guild & students is organizing a Walk, a Fun Fair & a Raffle to raise funds required to build a Modern Auditorium to fill a long felt need of the school. The walk will parade through the main roads of Negombo City on 20th September 2009. The Fun Fair will be held at the school grounds from 7.00 am till 7.00pm. The band Marians with leading artists will entertain the Distinguished Parents, Past Pupils, Guests, Well Wishers, Students & their families.

We are proud to inform that all key development activities in the past such as construction of a new 3 storied Administrations Building, state of art IT Centre, Computerization of school administration & construction of new basketball court were funded from the donations received from the school admissions.

The launching ceremony of the project and the press conference to publicize the event was held on 22nd June 2009 at the Convent Main Hall with a large gathering.
