The First Reunion and Inauguration

       When once the idea of an O.G.A(Old Girls Association) was put into execution, all of them troughed in and gladly partook in the most entertaining celebration of the Inauguration of the  O.G.A  on the 4th of October 1947.
       They had Holy Mass celebrated by one of the past student Rev. Fr. Kingsley Perera O.M.I recently ordceined priest and greatest credit to H.C.C. Among the worshippers were two past students Rev. Sr. Agnesia A.C and Rev. Sr. Narcissa two again to testify to the greater success up the sound education imparted by H.C.C. Each member of the O.G.A were received with a very warm welcome by Rev. Mother Ruth A.C Mother Superior and Principal of the college.
       The day was coloured with some games Netball match between past & present students and then fellowship lunch. Rev. Fr. D.J.Anthony the General Manager of Catholic Schools was present. The Office bearers were elected and the meeting ended with vote of thanks by Miss. P. Samarasinghe. The day was ended with Benediction and act of consecration to Our Lady.
