Primary Department of De Mazenod College ,Kandana isworking on ISA Project conducted by the British Council together with Ministry of Education. ISA is an accreditation scheme which recognizes the international work in the school.ISA recognizes ,celebrates, encourages successful practice in curriculum - based international work in schools.It provides opportunities for creative teaching and learning that encourages well motivated and inspired students. For the International School Award we work on 3 collaborative projects with Presidency school Bangalore and Royesh Private school Afghanistan as our partner schools.The 4 non collaborative projects should be done studying about four or five countries including Sri Lanka. Students gained 21st Century skills such as collaboration and communication ,citizenship,critical thinking,and problem solving,creativity and imagination,digital literacy,student leardership and personal development.ISA Project let our school to work with overseas schools to create a rich learning experiencefor students through curriculum based international projects while developing core skills and awareness on Sustainable Development Goals.

As a school community we hope to show our Lasallian Spirit with the support given by the administration to the fruition of this maiden project.
